Yes - deadline is Saturday 29th. I'm trying to scrabble together some stuff right now. The next arbiter is the editor of Bloodaxe books (Neil Astley) - anybody know what he likes?

Neil is probably the person who reads more modern British poetry than anyone else in his position as head of Bloodaxe. From the last anthology I would take his likes as 'good technical poetry with a definite bent towards fine use of image and tone.'

Not sure if that helps - but you could always buy the book - through The Book Place, of course!

Will try and send something tomorrow.. got one of Neil Astley's collections and it IS pretty damn good.. a bit too dense at times for my tastes.. but would still like to read his newest one. Unemployment kills the wallet, however..

Yes.. am now officially sans wine advisements.

Reading the anthology (library copy, I'm afraid) and there are some damn good moments in there..

Good luck to you barenib!
