Resignation

I did it!

I resigned and I have done it, if I don't say so myself... beautifully.

My parents would be proud.

I am only posting this on here, cos I started another rather indulgent thread at the start of the year asking if anyone had any tips for dealing with a bitch of a boss.
I thought the most appropriate way to celebrate would be to post on here seeing as I had such lovely kind advice from some people on here.

I have found the solution... leave!
Some people are just not worth sticking with out of determination.
Its a cliché for a reason, but life is short and the sun is shining.

Cheers,

Span

Well done Span, plenty more jobs in the sea!

Well played.
I walked into a job two years ago - dull business journalism on a poky little website - jumped ship three days later, and fetched up at Tooting Lido, splashing about in the blazing sun.
It was either that or kill someone.

And I haven't worked since!
Great! And summer's nearly here!

Well done - you are right - some things are not worth the candle. Now go get that dream job!

Yayy! Good going, Span.

Good girl. I'm sorry it didn't work out, it's sad when people are the reason you leave a job. But the important thing is that you come out of it in tact and feeling happy with the way you handled it.

See you tomorrow Spandulah,

resigning was the best thing I did last year, in fact it was so fun I'm thinking about doing it again.
