I really like this, Foster. Unfortunately, slow-cooked beef ragu and parmesan on penne pasta, and apple, polenta and prune cake with mascarpone cream has reduced my critical faculties to practically zero, but I just wanted to show my appreciation. I really like the dialogue, there's something slightly unreal to it, and I don't mean that it's unrealistic. I can imagine it as a black and white movie. And I'm not sure I should have a favourite section, but I like 6 the best...

Thanks for this, lib. I tried something new with this one, and I agree - it does remind me of an old b/w movie in a way - the language, I think.
But I must say, your meal sounded much more interesting than this story.
