Forums....

Anyone noticed a quietening of the forums? Is it a coincidence TC is not around? He doesn't post that much on the forums, as far as I can see, but still, they seem quieter when he's not around. An intuitive observation, so it may be complete tosh. What do you think?

It has been quiet, what you need to say is something that immediatly outrages everyone, sort of like a shock jock, that'll kick it off.
Make an outragious statement, who cares is you don't really believe it, it gets discussion going.
Seriously though, I was off line for quite a while and noticed upon return a lack of discussion on the threads. I dunno where everyone is.

FTSE shorted Lehman and made a killing. He used the money to buy a major publishing house and no longer needs us.

there used to be so much talk on the forums that even my absolute crap stories could be discussed with several comments. I liked it back then. lot of communication. not so much now.

When ever I read 'TC' I think of Top Cat...

The forums have been quite different over the years...but I must say, there's some fantastic writing on this site, and lots of interesting folk...perhaps it's connected with a universal quietening of internet forums after the initial boom? Or just that there's just so much going on on the web that people spread themselves more thinly.
