I ran into Kate Humble in Waitrose today. Almost literally, she made a sudden swerve at the checkout and nearly knocked me off my little Skunk legs. Naughty Kate. She's bigger than she looks, although my telly is quite small. I wished I had a little animal to give her. She likes those.

I bumped into Roger McGough on the tube. I wanted to give him Lily in pink.
I also bumped into Cliff Richard in Finchley. I wanted to give him a summer holiday.

My mother and I once followed Anthony Head (of Buffy fame) around the women's clothing section of Jolly's (House of Fraser) in Bath. He was even more gorgeous in real life!

Sat with Arsene Wenger in a hotel bar at Charles De Gaulle airport. Just me and him for a couple of hours. He had steak frites and I had five pints of Stella. We didn't speak. I think he was respecting my privacy.

I don't shop in Waitrose, I did however run into Jon Snow from Channel 4 news and was surprised how tall he was.
I used to bump into Uncle Albert from only fools and horses all the time and he looked axactly the same in real life.
More recently I sat between Kristian Guru Murphy, (also a channel 4 newsreader, does that make me a stalker) and Iaain Duncan-Smith, and Duncan-Smith poured me a drink!
