Hang on to your Brautigan!

Just looking on Amazon for a Richard Brautigan book to complete my collection. He seems to be out of print everywhere and a second-hand paperback in good nick goes for about £25 to £30! Hang on to your Brautigan, folks, one day you might retire on the proceeds!

Less is more, as always.

Amazon are not the only online seller :-) This is a great site to compare prices and stock >>> http://www.best-book-price.co.uk/search-Keywords/1-/266239/Richard+Braut...

It's the site I always refer people to for UKA press books(for UK customers) - I hate Amazon with a passion.

There was magic in my Brautigan completion. Following a visit to the actual library situated on Sacramento Street, San Francisco which he included in The Abortion (Yes, I'm a fan. Well worth the pilgrimage if you happen to be in SF. They've got a glass cabinet in there filled with little unpublished books people have posted to the address over the years - no kidding), I picked up a crusty copy of Pill Vs Springhill in a shabby little store near Japantown, and inside was a grocery bill which listed as one of its purchased items 'Rescue me, please' along with some carrots and a box of cereal.
