A Word on Caps Lock

Hi,

I'm quite new to the site and I was just wondering if there are already any guidelines on posting work with the title entirely in caps lock.

"LIKE THIS"

It seems to be quite common for members to do this and personally I get kind of annoyed by the seemingly shameless self promoting. Maybe I've got the wrong end of the stick and there's a reason behind it.

Sorry to grumble. :)

All my titles are "LIKE THIS" and I don't see why it is "shameless self promoting" to do this.
I just prefer to have my titles in Caps.

What I consider shameless self promotion is when writers post a topic in the forum to discuss their own work, sad.

I think different writers just have their own styles with titles - and I like it as it gives their work some individuality, especially when you're surfing the 'Recently Added' list. I can always spot poems posted by Biggus ;) And as another example Nathan Bednarek always posts his titles in quotation marks. And as a piece of genuine advice, as you're new here - try not to provoke any negative responses from other members! Instead read and comment on the work of others and you'll find they return the favour ;)
