Whatever you like! If it's one that you like then it's quite nice to acknowledge it - you begin to form a bond with that person and it can lead to being able to crit each other's work constructively.
It's really up to you - just as it is in the big wide world with someone you talk to for the first time. You can arrange to see them again, you can indulge in one long conversation and then never meet again or you can cut them short.

I have found most comments wonderfully helpful, or even just reassuring & confidence building. Also, I really feel like I am making freinds here. Kahdai

You are! It's been amazing over the 10 years of ABCtales - we've had love affairs, marriages, births, deaths and massive arguments. It's just like one big family.

Agree with all the above, but I also want to share something with you. If it weren't for this website I probably would've given up writing ages ago. The people on this website are all so generous, sparing some of their time to comment on my work when they could've been doing something else. Not only do I get to hear whether people like my work or not, but I learn more about writing with each comment they leave. As a result, this website is not just a sort of 'blog' where I post my work; it's where I grow as a writer and in many ways, as a person.
A personal thank you to everyone- my fellow writers and the editors of this website.
Nathan.
