Well, like these things always do, it's going well and it's good, playful fun.
It's made me think of editing and what editors do. Rumour has it that one or two million-selling authors owe more to the creativity of their editors than they would like to admit.
Why don't we give our collaborative story another week and then - individually - use it as a first draft, see what different people get?
Just an idea, I'll do it when we've given the thread 7 days, certainly. I'll name check all the culprits in the teaser, if there's room.

Suddenly. Really really suddenly the face of the Bulldozer man appeared through the grimy windows of a taxi plying the tourist trade from Instanbul to Constantinople.
