All Souls is dropping its one word essay

Perhaps we could try this on ABC. An arbiter will post a single word on a new thread at a given time and any 'entries' will have to be posted as a new piece within 3 hours. These could take the form of an essay, a fictional narrative, poetic prose or the suchlike. I only exclude poetry per se as the idea is to write for 3 hours, so I guess a realllllllylong poem would suffice...
Just an idea. Maybe Tony could rustle up a wee prize?

I think this is a great idea - but not one I can sort at this precise moment. If you guys want to go ahead and do it then please feel free - I'll get something together on it when I am established in Devon.
