Writing Couriers
Much of the plotting for my writing is done during stretches of the night-time motorway driving that I have to do as a courier.
The Last Bike Ride was triggered by something I saw over the horizon on the M3 and was written mentally on that motorway over the subsequent months of a regular contract I had. There were many nights that I got in, switched the laptop on, and poured those motorway words into it.
Are there many others who do the same, I wonder?
Hi Scooteria, I had my own Courier Company in London for many years. One of my guys wrote a story that went on to become a decent film. "Hackneys Finest". Another one used to write really good poetry.
