I stayed up all night and watched the dawn arrive.

"It's quite a place. Why do you have all these pictures of handsome men on the wall? I'm a bit jealous."
"Former boyfriends," she answered.

As he cradled her in his arms, a crow landed on top of the stone, pecking at it. It spread its wings and squawked, watching the two lovers.
She sat at the bar, waiting. She was like a spider waiting for a fly to get stuck in her web.
Someone sat next to her, looked around a little bit and then ordered a Corona.
