A Baby's Angel
When little ones of God are lying sick upon their bed,
and your tired heart is breaking as your stroke their tender
head;
Be still for just a moment, and you'll hear the angels sing
heaven's psalms and lullabys, making music with their wings.
Jesus loves the little children, and to them gladly sends
a host of angel nurses, their illnesses to mend;
To wipe their tiny eyes when they begin to weep;
To soothe the pain and gently rock your little one to sleep.
