Forlorn Adolescent

When you see her, you see nobody else
you see the isolation of a lonely withered young girl
you stop and stare through her shy insecure eyes
you see a puzzled history, a history of misery, pain and anguish
to see through and see the emotions of a girl that's that young
queries a lot of curiosity and unanswered questions

Why is she so depressed, sad and alone?
Do her parents care for her?
Does she have parents?
if so, why is their daughter so un-eased?
no one knows what happens behind closed doors
and in some cases they don't want to know

The girl lonesomely walks on no mans land
scared of her mirrored shadow of darkness trailing behind
the frailty pulsates through her, and she weakens
she's living on the edge of life, her intentions of
staying alive seem of some what dim
i wish i could save her, but i simply cant
she needs a boost of confidence to keep her going
she needs a miracle
she needs an oracle.
