A loss is a gain
To lose is to gain
In loss is gain
You lose the day
and out come the stars
shimmering like strings of the night
romantic night
You lose the night
and inching forward
is the sun
great rays of Atun
ultraviolet irradiating your skin
When the snake sheds its skin
that lies there wretched gone, going
like a snail up a fence
and the snake
breathes in bigger
and imagines its next meal
bigger, much bigger
and out come the stars of the night
perplexed and waiting
saying a loss is a gain
and you do not,
do not
do not
believe them
knowing they’ve lied before
and wait for the day
to burn
into the veins of your skin
broken, carping
and to feel them sting there
vinegar and
acid rain

I really like this animan, rythem to it & I like the stars of the night
perplexed and waiting
saying a loss is a gain
and you do not,
do not
do not
believe them
knowing they’ve lied before
and wait for the day
to burn
into the veins of your skin
I really like this part, it seems to me, to be of great emotion of loss. Kahdai

LOL - it was only about the loss of innocence really and about how, when you think you have something, you have nothing and how, when you think you have nothing, you have something - kind of putting loss on its (proverbial) head - but thanks for your kind thoughts. Animan x
