words don't float
around here
they stick; chewed gum
makes a mess ,tastes
old.
i like the bitter sort
of chocolate,
not sickly,
over sweetened stuff
even though i eat it
all the time.
i forgot
how i like
the thrust of a
well aimed sword.
But , punctured,
wished i'd worn
armour..

this is a very clever and witty read. specially loved the irony at the end: how enjoying the thrust of a well-aimed sword (bearing in mind the pen/sword analogy)shows that too much focus upon the aesthetic can be fatal!
