Can You Choose To Believe?

from the ABC set Poems

What do you do when you are tired?
Tired of the hurt and the tears?

What do you do when you can’t see?
Can’t see the sun shine through your window?

Where do you go when you can’t walk?
Can’t walk two feet without seeing his face?

How do you cope when you don’t know?
Don’t know what has really happened?

What do you really want when you don’t want?
Don’t want the pain of losing him or seeing him?

What else is there when it’s all been said?
All been said but I Love You?

Can you choose to believe?
To believe in a lie?

I think many people choose to believe in lies and many others choose oblivion... both bad choices in my opinion.
Except for poetry where, obviously, Oblivion can be beautiful :O)

“Can You Choose To Believe?”

This is a serious issue. In a religious context I feel that no, one can’t. But one may “choose” to seek for truth. Yes to “seek” that is voluntary.
