Freedom

from the ABC set Poems

Now I'm eighteen, now I'm free
Now I can do anything I damn well please.
Now I can drink and stay up til three.
Now I can curse and act like a tease.
Now I can drive fast and avoid trees.

Now I'm eighteen, I never will die.
That car up ahead will stop when he sees.
Now I'm eighteen, Ill never be hurt.
This crash isn't bad, just a scratch.

Now I'm eighteen, now I'm free.
