Trapped Inside

I’m trapped inside
The darkness closing around me
I’m drowning in a sea of emptiness
This is as lonely as I can be

As the black world surrounds me I wonder
Where will I go from here
When the night sinks down I remember
There is much more to fear

Sometimes I see myself in another world
And cry because it is not real
Deep inside I know the truth
Nothing is going to change about how I feel

All I want is to tell someone about the person I am
But sadly I fear that I don’t think I can
