Cowboy

Under your leather jacket and your
cocky smile,
I know there's something more to
you that's makes you less hostile.

After the smell of gun powder from
a earlier fight,
I wait for you to take off your hat
and I delight.

Under your clever chat up lines,
I can see there's something more
from your signs.

Under your too-quick-to-fire hands,
I can imagine there's a softer side
which have brushed upon many sands.

I sit and relax watching this movie
so coy and cute is this cowboy
racing across the screen,
I can not explain how much I am
enjoying this scene.

You can ride a horse like no other
and never getting tired of any trouble.
You have long shiny hair and a little
stubble.

You are a western style hero, making
girls hearts race wild as the Indians
at a sun dance.
Every girl in the cow-town is waiting
under your glance.

Under your leather jacket and your
cocky smile,
I know there's something more to
you that's makes you less hostile.

well written and great last two stanzas.

'racing the screen,'

don't get this: 'racing across the screen?' 'Gracing the screen?'

What do you mean? It's one false note, (the only one, for me) but it really throws me, to the detriment of something that I think is really good. Can you enlighten me??

Regards,
Ewan
