Dusk

The skyline
is torn into strips
blue-orange-grey.
Throwing light
upon trees
-skeletal and charcoal black
elated against the horizon.
Demi-Gods congregating outside
with the luminous moon
golden moccasin white
casting her acidic glow.
I stir in the last streams
of black-blue light of dusk
my image melting in the shadows.
