I creep across the path of life.
Tightrope, that could easily
turn into a rope and strangle
if it wanted to. So I wobble,
as I imagine many people do
traveling from one side to the
other. Making many good
friends along the way. The pink
fleshed baby growing taller.
Wiser. Life's lessons flow like
a stream straight into my grateful
hands, waiting to be absorbed.
Wolves circle and they also dip
their heads in, casting moon like
shadows and drink from the stream.
So I tiptoe gently, teasing the rope,
finding my feet.

Everyday you seem to be making a step towards good and deep poetry. A landmark poem this is. Congratulations. You have a poet's sensitivity, which is all you need. (Perhaps absorbed instead of digested?)

The last lines are wonderful and such an original image. I think we're all desperate to keep our balance - I guess the trick is not to look down ;)
