I've made these
boats
-sweat and blood
built some large
some small
some that don't
balance right-
capsize in water
watercolour wounds
spill out,
I've used my hands;
moulded the
white-ashes
of once proud trees,
studied a course
on origami,
I've tested the
water, my feet
trying to float
in tornado
waves
to make way for
you.

This piece truly expressed the lengths some people go for their loved ones.
Beautifully written.

Especially like the last two stanzas and last line, Beeme. Unusual theme - like it. x

I agree with FB, Beeme. This has a real 'modernistic' feel to it. Well done;-)
