The
horizon
once thick
with
vibrant
olive-drab
trees

now melts
in bone-
white
light

igniting
in the
sun
an amber
glow,
marbled
corpses.

this is beautiful beeme - wonderful imagery. Was it from a photograph or a painting?

one thing: should it be "melts"?
