AFTER THE REVOLUTION

from the ABC set CHRISTMAS TALES - HISTORY

After the French Revolution and the Monarchy was overthrown the new republican government banned Midnight Mass and as a result the people were denied access to the Church Crèches.
Though supporters of the revolution the people of Marseilles were not best please with this decision as they were particularly fond of the church Crèche and as the revolutionaries had denied them access to the church they created "public crèches" these were produced by individuals but displayed for all to see.

That would be a case of intellectuals knowing what's best for the people I suppose.

And since when do the people decide for themselves?

Now women have the vote, only 40% approx of Brits bother at all!

Well, what's the point voting for a suit full of fuck-all?

Because if you don't vote then you don't have the right to moan about the government that you had no interest in trying to change!

What if voting itself is pointless? What if voting is apathetic? What if voting simply means endorsing the corrupt bourgeois-liberal-capitalist system?

Conservatives, Lib-Dems, New Labour, the BNP. Oooohh, the agony of choice.

Anarchists don't vote. Are anarchists not interested in social change?...
