I think the dog wants to go out
He doesn't bark and he cannot shout
But I know that I'm not wrong
Because he has his hat and coat on

I always know when my cat needs to go out. She goes in the litter tray first and then wails at the back door. I don't think she's quite got the idea;-)

Enjoyed your poem and I'm sure that these days, you more than likely can buy hats for dogs and shoes too I shouldn't wonder.
