The fourth of July in the USA
Is that nations independence day
Which they celebrate with a holiday
In England we look across the pond
At a nation of whom we are truly fond
Indeed we feel we have a special bond
From when they won their independence
We’ve watched like anxious parents
And they’ve done quite well since
