~~
The last full moon of the year
began its journey
around our sphere.
The stars were twinkling too,
I know yet
the false Earthlight hid their glow.
It was Christmas
and the world was a glitter
polluted by a burst
of electric litter.

ah, that's made me feel all Chrissmassy Val - rare, it's the moon and stars twinkling in the poem that did it, knowing they are there - i like the contrast in this short poem, you have shown what Christmas is for you beautifully here i think - and it did remind me of a Christmas in Tenerife, under the stars on the beach, no electric litter whatsoever - thank you Val xx
