I saw an object in the sky
That looked quite like a dragonfly
But then I took a second glance
And realised just by chance
That the thing I saw was a whirlybird
With noisy engines that could be heard
With rotor blades that stut stut stuttered
Instead of wings that flut flut fluttered
It wasn’t that translucent blue
But a horrid dullish greyish hue
The noise it made was quite horrific
Though to fly up there would be terrific
So perhaps when I grow up I can
Be just like that pilot man
With rotor blades that stut stut stutter
Instead of wings that flut flut flutter
