Winter’s grip around my heart
freezes inspiration,
Yet, crimson hawthorn berries flame
to fire imagination.
Tumbling snowflakes floating down
very reminiscent
of falling cherry blossom time
shining, iridescent.
Then my mind drifts like the snow
recalling memories
late Summer evenings spent with you
nibbling sweet red cherries.

Hi again Val. I see that this I.P. is proving popular and already one or two cherries have been awarded.
Let's hope that one comes our way. Good luck.
