She stood slightly perplexed
In the food hall of the posh new mall,
All she wanted she proclaimed rather too loudly
Was good old English fare, where was it?
All she could see were Pizzas,
Ciabatta bread with an assortment
Of exotic fillings and Tandoori chicken salad.
“ What’s wrong with a jacket potato and cheese?” she complained.
“I can do you a cheese toasty”
The spotty faced lad offered.
“Oh alright that will have to do”
“What would Madam like to drink?”
“ Cappuccino” she answered without missing a beat.

My Goodness I feel I ought to own up here and say that rather too loud complainer was me in one of my awkward moods, yet even I had to laugh when I realised how ridiculous I sounded. Thanks for the comments. Val
