Yesterdays were so much easier
because there were still so many tomorrows,
I could procrastinate without guilt.
Today however the tomorrows dwindle down;
life has become unbalanced
with more yesterdays than tomorrows.
They say that tomorrow never comes…
Well, metaphorically speaking that may be so;
yet when it could all be over and done with today
why worry about tomorrow?
