Releasing An Album

The band in which I write the lyrics, do the rhythm and sing some of the vocals - CRIMINAL SUICIDE LTD - will be releasing our first album in a couple of weeks. We have the sort of Indie deal we were after. Great!
Then I told my two grown-up sons about it. Silence. I had to harass them for a well done and it was grudging. I thought they would be pleased at my small success. No. Are they jealous? Or do they just don't care?
No spontaneous pleasure, no 'We must celebrate!' Nothing. Looks like the dogs' home will get any money I make...
