Recipe for disaster

Starter:

Gourds are in this time of year
So get 'em whilst they’re hot.
Squashes are a real kids fave
So stick 'em in yer pot.

Bubble 'em up and watch 'em fry,
'Til they’re crispy black
Then return them to the shop
To get your money back.

Main Course:

Zucchini! Sang the lady
As she aped the bus conductor.
Zucchini with some gravy!
Replied an ageing dance instructor.

The sweet old lady said

Stick a carrot in it
And take it up to bed

Dessert:

Strain a vial of crocodile chowder (2lbs)
Pepper with antelope droppings
Mix with the paste of a pelicans parts
Et voila - a perfect cake topping.

NB. The cake may be a little savoury for some palates.
