Curiosity drew me there
A big red double Decker
Anticipation filled the air

Iron man T-shirts told the tale
Flexing muscles for his fans
Guinness book on sale

Thorough training completed
He’d tasted failure before
Hair tightly lashed to the vehicle
Reeboks firmly clawed the floor

As Manjit dragged the monster
70 feet along the road
Past a hairless cancer patient
I watched it all unfold

When questioned shortly after
Out of breath but proud as punch
I listened fascinated
Completely missed my lunch
