This is your lovely Mum "Ahem"
Cream for my face to keep me young
and cotton wool buds to take it of
the trinket box with pictures rare
from the wonderful pair
tears came when I saw
the wonderful cake
with a big lit up 70th Birthday
candle on
and photo done of me holding
a parasol handle
Bouquet of flowers and red
roses blended to-gether
regardless you came in bad weather!
coloured balloons with 70 on
my how the years roll along?
also gifts from cats "Astro"
"Cosmo" and "Orion"
but another surprise! was on the way
thank-you my darlings for making
my wonderful 70th birthday.

I got a beautiful grand-daughter for my 68th. I can't help wondering what kind of world she's inheriting but it won't burst my balloon.
