The Secret Garden

The snowflakes came down melting, making shapes I brush them aside. Through an arch of trees is a slippery path at its end I find "The Secret Garden". There are dying cabbages, pansies and
snowdrops hanging their heads.! I sit on a rock and see a sign saying ‘ Cumbria’, reminding me of the song ‘Kumbaya’ Someone’s crying my Lord'
In the corner is a lady sitting on a seat, I slowly go over to her and ask her name "Mary" she said as she was crying. I sat and talked with her and she had told me a friend died.We sat for a while,then looked up as a Red Admiral butterfly,with orange and black wings,fluttered by.
A high wall it’s top jagged with pieces of glass had rainbow coloured sun shining through the prisms,a white rabbit pricks up it’s ears there’s a pool with a mermaid swimming,her golden flowing fluorescent hair and her blue eyes,are stunning. The fountain spray has a smell of perfumed nectar, and the peewit twittering, a lost budgerigar. Passion! flowers with purple stamens, the smell makes me dizzy.
I see a fairy child, with silver wings wearing shiny ballet shoes, spinning & turning. an elf in green and orange playing pan pipes. wow I wonder whether I am dreaming! Mary and I make our way home as she offers me a lift going her way too and we know this is start? of a friendship with care of each other. I understood her as once I had lost somebody too?The sun suddenly came out shining,glowed on a beautiful corner of Roses,both
of us had not seen.
As it is a year ago,yesterday,joined AbcTales.
re-done this,and taken out Park bench,and Red dress.Altered a bit.As I put in for comp; then.
All comments very greatful.
Nolan,likes it,commented I see.
Peaceful,and tranquil,says.
As not too good, couple days,wanted to put something on,mark year on here!May 18th 2009.
Rushing for tickets,up and down escalators,over done it.For a show American Tap Dance,
and Riverdance,got but we couldn't go.Not up to it then.

Thanks! not a nanny.I was thinking of The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe more.Well my Granny so wise,
and very clever,and pyschic.on my father's side.She could grown anything,make paper flowers,crotchet,knit.Taught me do first patchwork hard.Crotchet easier.Used to do my hair in wringlets,
when I was a child. True.Her bread puddings,and toffee apples,and homemade rice puddings.Umm.My Mum had 6 children not so much time then,or could do much.Talent wise,but heart of gold.Glad you think it's so funny,can't think why?

Wow! what lovely words.It was my
first try,comp: Red Dress and Park Bench.
I tried five.So now delted re-updated without
those names in.But after,paper had Real "Secret Garden" so sent of CD and story I have amazed how it happens.Now The Fringe Festival had play or story "The Secret Garden" I missed going.and unable
to go to "Percussive Feet" we had tickets,Tap Dancers? Hoofers and greatest Tappers.Greta time
last Sunday,The Mariner B/TON HAD END THE Fringe,we
didn't know,Jive so off came big sun hat,I had a go.
Some I knew.Then Impersonators of Elvis Presley,fab;
Rock N Roll, Had a go someone in Jive to took me. it I knewo Jive.onto "Dean Martin" fab; Singer dancer impersonator,wow! and did Frank Sinatra" songs.fab: told us a to dance,so did,great!and syncronnise swimming. pLUS JUKE BOX PROFESSIONALS, all,SINGER SHE sung inside MADE UP CARDBOARD BOX JUKE BOX,put 10p in children,TURNED IMAGINARY DIAL,she would sing, NUMBERS wHAT A DIFFERENT A DAY MAKES.mINE DOEN'T DANCE SING.cOMES FROM MY TIMES AND MY LATE mum.dAMN COMPUTERS GONE INTO CAPITALS.I tried Brighton's Go Talent.Backing was hard,and someone knew in groups,harrassed me 3 weeks in.What do,can't do.what to wear.Made me loose confidence,not well there,and ignored me,not nice, know years.Dominators.They said lovely voice,but very nervous.I did Green EYES" By reading it,and tried Elaine Page Memories from Cats,came in wrong place,caught up,the hearing aid,music to loud.
But harrassed 3 bossed weeks know from elderly groups. in same room ignored me completely,not so great,pain in chest.wind an worry.Oh well.closing.hAVE A GOOD WEEK END.
If I read ANY OR PERMISSIION of someone's poem,I
don't get paid,of course.bUT AS i Said,IF "Crocodile-Tears" is accepted into "The Big Issue" One used get paid for and others.writing group and homeless. Get I will give, to. to ABCtALES.whoops, it's going wrong.Computer.Correcting. Up and down escalators rushing for,Daughter's Birthday ,did not agree with me either.Plus tickets for Percussive Tappers. had to cancell.
