Silence !
is golden like the song the soft shrill of early morning
To sit and breathe in and out
Without a care
The ebbing of the wash of the tide
as one walks along the shore
of people not thinking but love more
When bereavement comes and sadness there
one can only sit and stare
a walk through the park
and see the green trees
the children are everywhere!
Cats are given to sit on laps
tapes are made to relax
families and people argue
but peace comes from within!
Sometimes pills given can juggle up and down
a headache comes and we lay down
sit in silence!
before prayers
and empty our minds
and thoughts and cares!
Listen to the music no talk within
but some may like to have a glass of something
anxiety anger noise and bustle
can higher blood pressure
and cause other troubles?
Our Priest +
says breathe in the good and let out the bad
And be thankful for what you have.
Silence comes from reading a book
or to paint or learning to cook
and thank God for each new day
But start the morning and pray.

Lovely sentiment expressed here, good calming imagery, feel quite relaxed reading it, but why the occasional comma and then leave the rest devoid of punctuation? Without it, I find the lexis a little confusing.
Don't get so hung up on rhymes - poetry doesn't have to rhyme to be good. Concentrate on the imagery; it's more important, in my opinion.

Hello Jennifer thank you comment but Im not Poet or an Author it all comes from my writing groups for homeless, and many other things we do. As O.A.P and as once pub: co I did 3 pay all time, couldn't afford to do any more. saw abctales, in Argus so inverted Red Dress, and Park Bench in them. Now putting some on here collected in my £1 file hubby said get. I have one on relaxation if you want it. I used put pictures to them of the web not mine. I read yours and others expressing different ways, job comment when your new say right thing. so surprised get comments. Most your have red cherries.Alarming
when nver seen them or know why there.
Mine come from words pictures concentration, hubby's computer not mine. most mine experiences. I'm waitng "Green Eyes" kind poem Green Eyes emailed Argus put some in sometimes. good luck yours never heard of abctales I thought was new, some go back years. Hi! sometimes people
go on retreats,away for
Silence. I have had so much done
Like a lot of people's lives.
But then have to get used to
town city traffic again,when used
come back.Things echoed for a while.
