Wonderful Lad

I once had a canine k-9
Metallic dog called mickey'
from a wonderful lad named 'Will'
near me you see
one day having a little
sale of thing's

It's eyes lit up and blinked red
his tail it wagged!
the body all moved
an bone in his mouth

I said "how much please! to 'Will'
£1 said he I whipped indoors
and gave him more

For I made toy's myself once
and on the stall in a church
for homeless
and fet'e I gave
the metallic canine k-9
mickey' to them.

I saw this young lad the other
day and said
what I'd done!
if ever you please find
me another metal canine k-9 mickey'

I miss it so to-day and will
a little bit pay
of course he replied
"yes ok"
