Death of a Spambot.

from the ABC set Unordered Tales

One man blows the whistle,
Another pulls the chain,
A nasty little Spambot,
Goes circling down the drain.

But wait! Should not the benefit of doubt be given?
Self promotion is not a crime.
Unless commercial interests are involved,
But where to draw the line?

The boss is on vacation,
And so we can't be sure,
A ruling is awaited,
Order to restore.

I thought Clouseau was going to be solving a murder!
Never mind, nice to see a pome from Chuck, I say.

Oh, you know, just a little thing that wrote itself really. Nothing to do with the Thriller Competition.

Can't say I'm familiar with Mr. Pryce's work but it looks like it may be my cup of tea.

I like your poem Chuck - I think it needs an illustration of the spambot

They are shy elusive creatures poncey. Actual sightings are extremely rare. Best I can do...

We depend on good old FTSE to eradicate them.
