A Hint Of Pink

from the ABC set Poetry

Just a dash,
A tease, a glance
Enough for me
To take a chance
To ask a question
To raise a smile
To garner a look
And make it worthwhile

Just a smidgen
A bite, a bit
Much too much
For me to resist
Charms and wiles
Heavy lashed eyes
A curtain of threads
Hiding trembling thighs

So:

Under my left hand
I feel her mouth
Under my right
Her hearts beats fast
I can see passion
In her wide eyes
But like all before her
I know it won’t last

For the moment
I am happy
To give this love
A momentary life
For the time being
I am sated
With a hint of pink
On the edge of my knife

From the black shades of your consciousness, a hint of pink emerges. Creepy and captivating.

Maybe not black but certainly dark-grey. Glad you enjoyed it.
