People don’t read anymore
except for tabloid photo captions
instead they wait for the movie
ever dependent on critic’s reactions.
People don’t read anymore
except for friends blogging rambles;
even then the writing is poor
illogical and barely understandable.
People don’t read anymore
except maybe for website headlines;
the content is usually ignored
so their ‘facts’ are ill-defined.
People don’t read anymore
they’ll smoke or park any damn place,
they’ll throw their rubbish wherever;
it's a sad and sorry disgrace.
People don’t read anymore;
they prefer to watch television.

Shoe, we all know people like this. Unfortunately, I think they're becoming more prevalent, which is a damned shame.

Insert, I dashed this one off, kind of annoyed after hearing of someone call a friend of theirs who reads 'weird'. Strange world we live in, huh?
