He spins a lot of bullshit
Designed to make himself feel better
About the world;
About his job;
About his relationships;
About everything he cares for
Or doesn’t give a damn about.
He spins it in his head
Then lets it spill out of his mouth
And into the ears of anyone
Willing to become a septic tank
For his thoughts.
The unfortunate thing about this
Is most aren’t aware.
They don’t have their bullshit filters
Armed and activated.
So he gets away with filling their heads
With unadulterated crap.
Sometimes I wish
I could pull on his charm
And flush the shit away.
But this is merely a whimsy
As his audience is now very large
And too many would question their own validity
If he were to be reset.

Hahahaha this could be applied to every politician, eh?

Oh yes, corporate heads, a lot of celebrities, sports 'stars' (whatever the heck that means) and of course politicians.

You ever write song lyrics? This reminds me a bit of Mr Suit by Wire :O)

Most of my writing, until recently, has been song lyrics as I am a musician/producer (among other things).
I have to admit, though, I am not familiar with the song. I will have to track it down. Thanks for reading.

"willing to become a septic tank/
for his thoughts"
has a low brow earthy lilt about it i liked this metaphor. it is a bit like the wire song, in the guts of the message anyhow.

Inchiki, thanks for commenting and for the link. I still haven't heard the Wire song - must remember to do this later. Thanks again.
