People Under The Train

There’s a person under a train at Bound’s Green
Last week it was Finchley Road, on the Jubilee
I shall never know these persons pain,
Can only guess at what they dreamed
Such an event should convey to me -
From their graves under the tracks:
Human beings once, now statistics, graphs
And reports, projected and inspected up close -
Transformed from flesh into figures and notes.

Why assume they were under train volunteers elements? :-)

Sorry elements - scratch that - just read your other works and you don't seem to reply :(.

Having lived in London for a great many years, I was interested in starting a dialogue with you about the subject but that's fair enough, it's your space and I do respect that :-)

PS .. how about an extra line ..

"...and into elements poems"

:) lol
