A Beautiful Kiss

from the ABC set Poems

His lips neared mine, his words reeling me in, captivating my interest
Distracting me from the welcome closeness of his breath next to mine
Speaking softly until the moment our lips brushed still not kissing just feeling
Gently, seeking and exploring the moment was tortured pleasure
My body tingled anticipating our mouths joining as his hand brushed my cheek
Softly as he drew me closer mouths parting further allowing our lips to press closer
Harder, hungrier to taste each other our breathing grew heavy,
The beautiful tension was so vivid Lips parting slowly and then drawing close again
Our tongues merged and began to dance to our body's rhythm
The intimacy was raging, so passionate yet gentle
Our eyes open not staring but exploring each others intimate gaze,
Passion fueled eyes meeting as our lips talked softly to each other through touch

Kisses like this only happen in movies
Not to strangers, who only recently met
Not to me
But it did

And it was the most beautiful kiss
