Metric Mnemonic

I amb da-dum and can’t but see
a trochee should amount to three:
but it only goes dum-da, and don’t
you even think it won’t.

Dum-da-da is just a dactyl:
it’s so surreal the very fact’ll
make you think the size that’s best is
the da-da-dum that anapaest is.
