Outsider

from the ABC set

Darkness is my ally:
I hide between the pools
of lamplight.
I keep in step with you;
your clacking heels disguise
my footsteps.

In modern panopticons
minimum wage-slaves ogle
car-park adultery.

Cameras don't find me
I stay outside the frame -
haunt margins,
unlit and unobserved:
if nobody has filmed it,
is it true?

I have no virtual presence:
I roam outside the bonds
of hexadecimal.
