lightly fantastic,
shaped by brush and pen,
the fowlest fish never alive.
Poet, writer, funny man:
what manner of beast
are you?
Serious,
humorous,
philosophical?

What manner of beast indeed!

Some artists depict a fire-breathing monster with a lion's head, a goat's body and a serpent's tail. However represented,certainly a horrible phantasm!

Short but not sweet and yet decidedly enjoyable your poem, Ewan:-)
