"After Blind"

Colors and blades
Dark grayish shades
Perspective, glimmering
The sun shine shimmering

Drops, ice sickle
Morning, barnicle
Fire's gazing amber
And the light to remember...

Accident
Disease
Damaged
Sight
Then

No colors nor blades
But dark grayish shades
Perspective, diminished
The light now abolished

No drops, this winter
But tears where I linger
As nothing, I'd falter
Than the light, I remember....

A sombre poem indeed, francis. I like your choice of vocabulary and the imagery. Works well.
