You cannot create or destroy energy,
only transform it.

Scary stats, those, particularly given US administration doesn't want to have anything to do with Kyoto or any other initiatives.

Global demand for oil reached 85.7 million barrels per day in 2007.
US consumption of oil = 21 million barrels per day. (Europe = 16m per day, China = 8m per day).
Carbon emissions far exceed carbon sequestration rates. Climate change is a euphemism for climate chaos.
